Ramm came to my home for a free estimate to take care of my supposed mold problem. They were actually a second opinion, although I didn't share that upfront, as I wanted a first impression estimate. Bill Q. showed me his credentials and examined the antique drawers with his flashlight and even scraped some of the "mold" off with a utility knife to reveal it was not mold at all. My fear of hazardous mold spores was extinguished as he touched, smelled and scraped to prove it was not mold. The first company I contacted told me it was mold and wanted to charge me $450 to clean up the contamination and "scrub the air," which was the minimal charge. This experience has proven to me that you must do some research, get a few estimates and go with an honest company like Ramm. Had they just wanted a sale, I may have taken the bait out of fear.
